Inside the park we found a charming cottage that would be used as a residence since 1914 by the gardener of the place and his family. It was Don Salvador Merlo, who would plant many of the species that today contains this environment, and lived with his wife Doña Olaya Tamargo and seven children in this extraordinary place, ensuring that everything was glowing. Among the legends of the nursery, there is a recounting Salvador and he called "La Encantada" and that was about a beautiful woman who appeared to him early in the morning and asked to accompany him to a place where a treasure was hidden, Salvador but which never dared to go.
